Dior Unveils Rose Star, A New Addition To La Collection Privée

The scent draws on two enduring emblems of Christian Dior’s personal universe: the Centifolia rose and his lucky star. These symbols, deeply rooted in the history of the house, are transformed into a fragrance structure that unfolds with clarity and direction.

The composition opens with a vivid blend of lemon, pear, and Sichuan pepper. These top notes bring brightness and crisp texture, balanced by a peppery nuance that lends structure and tension. At the heart of the fragrance lies Centifolia rose, cultivated in the Grasse region and selected for its round, floral richness. The base introduces a soft finish through honey and musk, creating a tactile, skin-like impression that completes the composition with warmth and fluidity.

Rose Star joins La Collection Privée as a unisex Eau de Parfum built around floral and ambery facets. The structure follows a distinct olfactory progression – fruit and spice into floral depth, grounded in a subtle musky foundation. Every phase of the fragrance was designed to express refinement without ornament, using raw materials shaped by balance and precision.

The cylindrical flacon remains consistent with the Privée series: clean, transparent glass, a simple white label, and a black lacquered cap. The pink-tinted liquid signals the floral identity while preserving the understated codes of the collection’s design language.
